Test 5: Premovement time
PASS1. Definition
Ten persons stand in a room of 8 m by 5 m with an exit 1 m wide in the middle of a 5 m wall. Their premovement times are drawn uniformly between 10 s and 100 s. The test verifies that each person starts moving at an appropriate time.

2. Scenario

Scenario figure from the executed notebook.
3. What to expect
Each person starts moving at a time consistent with its premovement time, which lies between 10 s and 100 s. RiMEA gives no tolerance for ‘appropriate’ and sets no fixed pass limit (p. 28).
Our criterion: Agents respect assigned pre-movement delay

5. Our implementation
Deviations from the standard:
- The pass rule is the suite’s own: each agent’s observed start (the first frame with a displacement above 0.05 m from its spawn point) is within 0.5 s of that agent’s own sampled premovement time, and every start lies between 9.9 and 101 s.
- The test pairs agents with their draws by id order, because the runner assigns ids in spawn order and the scenario result does not expose per-agent premovement times.
- RiMEA does not fix where the persons start. The scenario file places them in a 6.6 m by 4.6 m area that covers most of the room, with a constant desired speed of 1.2 m/s, the default radius of 0.15 m and premovement seed 12345 (so the test can recompute each agent’s draw).
- The notebook loads the same scenario file but applies a different acceptance rule: a two-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test of the start times against the uniform distribution (alpha 0.05).
