Test 20: Lift usage
PENDING1. Definition
Two rooms lie 3.5 m apart in height and are joined by a lift. A 1 m exit is in room 1. One occupant with a speed of 1 m/s and no pre-evacuation time starts in room 2, and the lift is the only way out. The lift starts in room 1, travels to room 2, collects the occupant and takes it back to room 1. The tester defines the lift kinematics, such as speed, acceleration and door times. A model without a lift sub-model documents the limitation. A model that supports several lifts needs an additional test with at least two lifts, each with a capacity below the number of occupants.

2. Scenario
Scenario picture not available.
3. What to expect
The occupant first enters the lift in room 2, is discharged in room 1, and then reaches the exit of room 1. ISO calls the test a qualitative check of the model’s assignment.
Our criterion: Not implemented
ISO 20414 Table 20 lists this test; there is no test for it in this suite.
4. Our result
Status: PENDING
No measured values: this test is not covered yet.
5. Our implementation
Deviations from the standard:
- Not implemented: there is no test for it in this suite. JuPedSim has no lift component.
Model: not available in this run
- No test function for this row.
