Test 19: Occupant incapacitation by fire/smoke
PENDING1. Definition
A 10 m by 10 m room, 3 m high, has no fire source. In step 1 one occupant stands in the centre, held in place by a very large pre-evacuation time. Hazardous conditions, such as toxic gases, irritants, heat or radiation, are imposed according to the incapacitation sub-model in use, and the time at which the occupant’s fractional effective dose (FED) reaches 1 is determined. In step 2 the same FED is computed at the same location by hand calculation or by an independent validated fire model using the same FED formulation. The test is repeated for each hazard the sub-model contains. Moving occupants may be added as an extension. A model without such a sub-model documents the limitation.

2. Scenario
Scenario picture not available.
3. What to expect
The time to FED = 1 in the evacuation model equals the time to FED = 1 at the measurement point in step 2, for every hazard in the sub-model.
Our criterion: Not implemented
ISO 20414 Table 20 lists this test; there is no test for it in this suite.
4. Our result
Status: PENDING
No measured values: this test is not covered yet.
5. Our implementation
Deviations from the standard:
- Not implemented: there is no test for it in this suite. JuPedSim has no built-in FED model.
Model: not available in this run
- No test function for this row.
6. Our notebook
No notebook for this test yet.
